Tales of the Living Rainforest — WoG

Tales of the Living Rainforest is a large underground map for five players, each playing against the others with no teams, and every player is human-controlled. It covers a 108 by 108 tile area that is roughly half rock and half swamp, with a small share of water. The story in the author's note concerns a witchdoctor who unleashed a deadly tome in the jungle, bringing stone statues of beasts and dead emperors back to life. Every player may choose from eight factions. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses by losing every town and hero. Six towns are on the map, along with 28 mines, 25 creature banks, and 10 monoliths and portals. Wandering monsters include hydras, gnoll marauders, and basilisks, and placed artifacts include the Titan's Gladius and the Thunder Helmet.
