Swamped! is a small underground map on a 36 by 36 grid, rated Hard, for one human player facing seven computer opponents across two teams. The author describes an unending stream of enemies, and the only way to end it is to locate the Grail. Swamp covers about 42 percent of the terrain, with subterranean ground, rock, and a little water making up the rest. Each of the eight colors is assigned a different faction, from Castle and Necropolis to Inferno and Conflux. Victory comes from building a Grail structure, and a player loses by losing all towns and heroes. The map holds nine towns and wandering monsters such as Trolls and Earth Elementals, along with an Orb of Silt, two random artifacts, and a timed event.
