Strange Map — SoD
Overview
Written from the facts in this map's file
Strange Map is a medium 72 by 72 map with an underground level, built for four players who can all be human, with no teams. Each player gets a random faction, and the difficulty is set to Impossible. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player is eliminated after losing every town and hero. The terrain is mostly rock, dirt, and subterranean ground, with some grass and only a little water. Seven towns and six starting heroes are spread across the map, along with wandering armies that include Earth Elementals, Sharpshooters, a Titan, and a Black Dragon. Notable finds include the Titan's Cuirass and the Sword of Hellfire, and the map also holds 25 mines, 14 creature banks, and 13 monoliths and portals.
