Storm v1.2 is a medium Heroes of Might and Magic III map for Shadow of Death, sized 72 by 72 tiles and played across two levels, with an underground level included. Six players can take part, all of them human-controllable, with no teams and no computer-only colors. The starting factions are Castle, Necropolis, Dungeon, Stronghold, Tower and Rampart, one per player. The difficulty is set to Impossible. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses once all their towns and heroes are gone. About a quarter of the map is water, with sand, rock and lava making up most of the remaining ground. The map holds six Archangel stacks as wandering monsters, 115 random monster stacks, 40 mines, six Seer Huts, and 35 random artifacts, along with placed artifacts such as the Angelic Alliance and Dragon Scale Armor.
