Singing Sword is an extra large Armageddon's Blade map of 144 by 144 tiles, with both surface and underground levels, set at Hard difficulty. Five players take part, with up to four controlled by humans and the Purple player handled only by the computer. There are no teams. Red plays Tower, Blue Castle, Green Rampart, Orange Stronghold, and Purple Inferno. The author's note tells players to seek out a legendary sword. Victory comes from transporting a specific artifact, and a player is eliminated after losing all towns and heroes. Rock and subterranean ground make up about half the map, with water covering roughly 12 percent. The map holds 25 towns, 36 mines, and 21 creature banks, and it includes the Grail along with artifacts such as Armageddon's Blade and the Sword of Hellfire. Wandering Enchanter stacks and several dragon types roam the land.
