Snow in the Desert — SoD
Overview
Written from the facts in this map's file
Snow in the Desert is a Hard, medium-sized map of 72 by 72 tiles with an underground level, built for four players in two teams, with every seat playable by a human. The factions are Inferno for Red, Stronghold for Blue, Castle for Green, and Fortress for Orange. The rules are simple: victory comes from defeating all enemies, and a player loses once all their towns and heroes are gone. The terrain is mostly rock, with wide stretches of sand, patches of lava, and some grass. Scattered across the map are wandering stacks of wraiths, wights, and sharpshooters, along with dwellings holding dragons, genies, and medusas. Twenty-one mines, twenty-three creature banks, and a range of placed artifacts add to the exploration.
