Sluchaynaya — SoD
Overview
Written from the facts in this map's file
Sluchaynaya is a randomly generated map made with the Random Map Generator for the Shadow of Death expansion. It is medium-sized at 72 by 72 tiles and has two levels, including an underground one. Four players start on the map, with one seat open to a human and the other three held by computers on the Impossible setting. Red, Tan, and Green are computer-only, and the players form two teams. The factions are Castle, Necropolis, Stronghold, and Rampart. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses when all towns and heroes are gone. The land is mostly grass, rock, and subterranean ground, with no water. Eight towns and three starting heroes are placed, along with 28 mines, 19 creature banks, and 22 random artifacts. The Ladybird of Luck and the Shield of the Dwarven Lords are also placed on the map.
