Skull Island is an extra large 144 by 144 map for Restoration of Erathia, with an underground level and normal difficulty. Three players take part, with at most two of them human, and the computer-controlled Tan player starts with a Fortress. Red and Blue form opposing teams and receive random factions. Victory does not follow the standard rules: a side wins by defeating one specific hero, and a player is eliminated once all towns and heroes are lost. The land is mostly rock and grass, with lava, dirt and some water. Six towns, seventy mines and the Grail are spread across the map, along with wandering monsters such as a Black Dragon and a Minotaur King. Dwellings offer creatures ranging from Angels to Giants, and artifacts like the Golden Bow are scattered about.
