Segments of Dorb — RoE
Overview
Written from the facts in this map's file
Segments of Dorb is a large underground-capable map of 108 by 108 tiles, rated hard, set in the Restoration of Erathia version of the game. Four warring nations, Fortress, Tower, Inferno and Castle, contest Dorb, the central island, while a fifth computer-only force of Dungeon and Stronghold shares the field and is set up for the human players to stumble upon. Up to four humans can take part, with no teams. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player is eliminated after losing all towns and heroes. Rock covers about 40 percent of the terrain, water about 22 percent, with swamp and lava making up much of the rest. Notable finds include seven towns, four starting heroes, and placed artifacts such as Angel Wings and Boots of Speed, plus wandering Minotaurs, Black Dragons, and a Titan, Chaos Hydra and Arch Devil among the stacks.
