Secret Alliance(Allies) — RoE

Secret Alliance(Allies) is a medium 72x72 underground-enabled map for four players, with two teams and up to four human players, set in the Restoration of Erathia version and rated Expert. The author's premise is that the two kingdoms above ground and the two below were expected to fight over their own realms, but a hidden pact lets every side reach both the surface and the underworld. Factions are assigned randomly to each player. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses by losing all towns and heroes. The land is mostly subterranean, dirt, grass, and lava, with about 5 percent water. Eight towns, 35 mines, and 151 random monster stacks are spread across the map, along with an Efreet Sultan wandering monster, eleven creature banks, and four seer huts. Four named artifacts are placed on the map, including the Bird of Perception and the Statesman's Medal.
