Santuary — RoE

Santuary is a medium 72 by 72 map for Restoration of Erathia, with an underground level on normal difficulty. Six players can take part, with up to four controlled by humans and Orange and Purple reserved for the computer. Players form two teams, and every faction is assigned at random. Water covers about half the map, and grass, subterranean and rough ground make up most of the rest. Victory requires defeating all enemies, while a player loses once all towns and heroes are gone. The author removed several spells, including Armageddon, Dimension Door, Fly, Sacrifice and Waterwalk. Ten towns and 148 wandering monster stacks fill the map, with dwellings for Angels, Dragons, a Hydra and a Behemoth, and artifacts including Angel Wings and four elemental tomes.
