Santana — SoD

Santana is a medium 72 by 72 map for Shadow of Death with an underground level, rated Expert. It supports five colors, though only three can be human players, and the remaining two, Green and Orange, are reserved for the computer. There are no fixed teams, so every side plays for itself. The factions are Tower for Red and Green, Necropolis for Blue, Fortress for Tan, and Rampart for Orange. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses once every town and hero has been removed. Rock covers much of the land and water takes up about a third of it, with small patches of subterranean ground and grass. The map holds ten towns, along with 30 mines, four creature banks, and four monoliths or portals. Wandering monsters include many Pixies and Gnoll Marauders, and the placed artifacts include Angelic Alliance and Titan's Thunder.
