Salvation is an extra large underground map for eight players, with room for only one human player while the other seven colors are controlled by the computer. There are no teams, and difficulty is set to Normal. Red and Blue start with Rampart, while the other colors mix Castle, Rampart, Bulwark, and Tower. Rock covers most of the terrain, with snow, sand, and grass making up the rest. The premise is a prisoner's challenge: to win freedom, a hero must transport one specific artifact before seven days run out. Explorers will find 29 towns, 474 seer huts, and the Grail, along with wandering Archangel and Arch Devil stacks and artifacts such as Armageddon's Blade.

Author's description

One king had a peculiar tradition: he offered every prisoner a chance to gain their freedom, but to do so, they had to complete a challenging mission. You decide to try your luck, reasoning that a small chance at salvation is better than the prospect of spending the rest of your days behind bars.
