Salantes (Allies) — WoG

Salantes (Allies) is an extra large 144 by 144 map with underground levels, designed for six players at normal difficulty, all of whom can be human. The players form three teams, and the factions in play are Castle, Rampart, Tower, Stronghold, Inferno, and Necropolis. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses once all their towns and heroes are gone. Rock covers about a third of the land and water about a quarter, with rough ground and grass making up much of the rest. The map includes 12 towns, 58 mines, and the Grail, along with placed artifacts such as Angel Wings and Boots of Polarity, six seer huts, and wandering monsters including a Ghost Dragon and a Gold Golem. The author presents it as a team challenge that also includes some quests.
