Salantes — RoE

Salantes is an extra large, 144 by 144 map with an underground level, set for six players split into three teams. Each player controls one of six factions: Castle, Rampart, Tower, Stronghold, Inferno, and Necropolis. The author describes it as a team test that can be played multiplayer or single player, asking whether allied players can cooperate against their enemies, and mentions some quests. Rock covers about a third of the terrain and water about a quarter, with rough ground and grass making up the rest. Victory requires defeating all enemies, while a player loses by losing all towns and heroes. The map holds 12 towns, 58 mines, six seer huts, five creature banks, four monoliths or portals, and the Grail. Wandering monsters include a Ghost Dragon, a Gold Golem, and an Air Elemental, and four named artifacts are placed on the map.
