Riverland — AB

Riverland is an Extra Large 144 by 144 underground map for Armageddon's Blade, rated Expert, and it has no story. Six players can take part, with at most four controlled by humans, while the Blue and Tan seats are reserved for the computer. No teams are set, and each color plays a different faction: Stronghold, Dungeon, Necropolis, Rampart, Fortress, and Conflux. Rock and subterranean ground cover much of the land, with grass, lava, and about 11 percent water filling the rest. A player wins by defeating every enemy and loses once all towns and heroes are gone. The map holds 25 towns, 119 mines, 14 monoliths and portals, many placed and random artifacts, and wandering monsters. The author notes that moving unseen through the underworld is a real challenge.
