Reunion is an extra-large underground map for eight players, with each player controlling one faction: Inferno, Necropolis, Dungeon, Fortress, Stronghold, Rampart, Tower, and Castle. All eight seats can be human, and there are no teams, so every player fights for themselves. The victory condition is to defeat all enemies, and a player is eliminated after losing all towns and heroes. The 144 by 144 terrain is mostly grass, swamp, dirt, and rough ground, with a small share of water. Across the map are 47 towns, 103 heroes, 86 quest guards, 48 seer huts, 136 mines, and 155 monoliths and portals. Wandering monsters include Nomads, Cannons, Mechanics, and Leprechauns, and dwellings offer creatures from every faction. Artifacts such as Armageddon's Blade and the Boots of Speed are placed around the level.
