Rock covers most of the terrain, with grass, rough ground, and swamp making up the rest. The author notes that a specific ring is needed to defeat the undead, and it requires one gem. Victory comes from gathering that gem, and the game is lost if the 168-day limit expires. Notable finds include the Grail, the Ring of Infinite Gems, and six Vampire Lord stacks roaming the map.
