Reclamation-WWIII TE m ASher — SoD

Reclamation-WWIII TE m ASher is an Extra Large 144 by 144 surface map for Shadow of Death, with no underground level. It is played at Impossible difficulty by seven players, with only one human slot and the rest controlled by the computer, grouped into four teams. Factions include Inferno, Necropolis, Tower, Castle, Conflux and others, and one player's faction is random. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses when all towns and heroes are gone. About a third of the land is water, with large areas of snow and grass. Highlights include the Grail, seven named artifacts, 106 mines, eight monoliths and portals, and wandering Crystal Dragon and elemental stacks. The author's description frames the map as a fictional aftermath of a lost war in Afghanistan, with remaining loyalists in North America and possible civil wars across Mexico, the United States and Canada.
