Reavers of the North — AB
Overview
Written from the facts in this map's file
Reavers of the North is an Armageddon's Blade map set in the Nordic world of roughly 800 to 1050 AD, where seafaring raiders challenge established kingdoms. It is an extra large 144 by 144 map with an underground level, rated Impossible, and it supports eight players, with up to three human players and five computer-controlled colors. There are no fixed teams. Factions include Castle, Stronghold, Tower, Inferno, Necropolis, Rampart, Conflux, and Fortress. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses by losing all towns and heroes. Water covers about 27 percent of the terrain, with grass, rock, and snow making up the rest. The map holds 27 towns, many mines and creature banks, and a Grail, along with a number of named artifacts and wandering monster stacks, including large groups of Stone Golems and Earth Elementals.
