The factions are Inferno, Castle, Stronghold, Rampart and Dungeon, and no teams are set. The author's description says the relic's power was lost long ago and its pieces are scattered across nearby lands, which the hero must gather by visiting the surface folk. Victory requires transporting a specific artifact, and the hero loses by losing all towns and heroes. The terrain is mostly rock, with grass, water and dirt covering the rest. Notable features include nine towns, several dragon-themed artifacts, a Grail, and a number of wandering monster stacks, including halflings and crystal dragons.
