Two players take part, with one human player at most while the Blue player is computer-controlled, and there are no teams. Both sides receive random factions. The map is mostly rock and sand, with little water. The story follows settlers who pass through Siguiri and Ouagadougou on their way to Kéla, a quiet village known for its griots, where they plan to build a petrochemical plant. The player must carry the Angel Wings to Kéla to win, and the game is lost if the 336-day limit runs out. The map holds 17 towns, 31 mines, and the Grail, along with several Gold Golems and Fire Elementals roaming the land.
