Quest of the Artifact — WoG

Quest of the Artifact is a large underground map measuring 108 by 108, built for In the Wake of Gods and rated Impossible. Its goal is to locate and capture a specific artifact tied to an angelic alliance while keeping the main hero alive. Five players take part, but only one can be human, and the other four colors are computer-controlled. No teams are used. Rampart, Stronghold, Fortress, Inferno and Necropolis are the factions in play. Rock covers most of the terrain, with grass, water and swamp making up smaller shares. The map holds 11 towns, 130 random monster stacks, 59 random artifacts and 41 mines, plus placed relics like the Bow of the Sharpshooter.
