Quest for Victory *new 1/2003* — RoE

Quest for Victory is a medium 72 by 72 map for two human players with no teams, set on a level that includes underground terrain and played on the Impossible difficulty. Red and Blue each begin with a random faction. To win, a player must eliminate every enemy, and a player loses by losing all towns and heroes. The landscape is mostly rock with dirt and grass, and only a sliver of water. The changes include removing several spells, banning some artifacts and heroes, adjusting dwellings, and making the guards between the two sides tougher. Expect 95 random monster stacks, 16 mines, 12 creature banks, and 10 monoliths and portals, along with 23 random artifacts.
