Quest 4 Magic II is a large 108 by 108 map for Restoration of Erathia, playable on the surface only, and it is built for six players, all of them human-capable and none of them computer-only, with no teams. Each colour starts with a different faction: Red with Stronghold, Blue with Fortress, Green with Rampart, Orange with Inferno, Teal with Castle, and Pink with Necropolis. The difficulty is set to Hard. Victory requires defeating every enemy, and a player loses once all of their towns and heroes are gone. Roughly 39 percent of the surface is water, with grass covering much of the rest, and the map contains 15 towns, 49 mines, 14 creature banks, and 18 monoliths and portals. Placed artifacts include the Crown of the Supreme Magi and the Quiet Eye of the Dragon, and wandering Dragon Flies and Battle Dwarves are among the more common roaming stacks.
