The Quebec (SoD) map is a large 108 by 108 underground-enabled scenario for eight players, with every seat open to a human. Each color plays a different faction, from Conflux and Tower to Necropolis and Castle, and there are no teams, so the match is a free-for-all. Difficulty is rated Hard. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player is eliminated once they lose all towns and heroes. Rock covers the largest share of the terrain, followed by grass, subterranean ground and a modest amount of water. The map is populated with nine towns, a large number of random monster stacks, and dwellings guarded by creatures such as Angels, Giants and Hydras. Notable placed artifacts include Boots of Levitation, Cornucopia and the Statue of Legion, alongside mines, monoliths and portals.
