Parallel Worlds is an Armageddon's Blade map on an extra large 144 by 144 grid, with an underground level and an Expert difficulty rating. Eight players can take part, each human player assigned one of the eight factions, with no teams and no computer-only colors. Victory comes from defeating every enemy, and a player loses once all their towns and heroes are gone. The land is mostly grass, with roughly a quarter water and some dirt and rough ground. Thirty towns are spread across the map, and the author describes it as a large world with plenty of treasure to explore, built for multiplayer. Wandering dragons, hydras, phoenixes, and enchanters roam among the mines, seer huts, creature banks, and monoliths, and eight named artifacts are placed alongside many random ones.
