Pandora's Box is a medium underground map for four players, each playing alone, and all four can be human. Set on a 72 by 72 grid, it asks players to search through many containers to find the one holding the Sword of Judgement, which is the goal for a standard victory. Red plays Castle, Blue plays Necropolis, and Green and Orange both play Dungeon. Players lose if they lose all their towns and heroes. The terrain is mostly rock and dirt with some subterranean ground and no water. Wandering dragons and an Archangel roam the map, and the dwellings include Angels, Bone Dragons, and Beholders. Other highlights include two Armor of Wonder and Sea Captain's Hat placements, 28 random artifacts, and 26 mines.
