Pán Prstenù is an extra large underground map for Shadow of Death, set on a 144 by 144 grid and designed for three players, with only one human seat and the Red and Blue colors controlled by the computer. The author's premise follows Aragorn, the last heir of kings, who waits for four hobbits so that together they can free Gandalf from Saruman's prison and defeat Sauron's evil. Players face two teams in an Impossible difficulty game. The factions include Inferno for Red, Tower and Stronghold for Blue, and Rampart with Tower for Green. Victory requires defeating all enemies, while the loss condition is the death of a specific hero. Grass, rock, and lava cover most of the terrain, with a small amount of water and sand. Notable features include the Thunder Helmet, a timed event, and many dwellings, mines, and creature banks.
