Over and Under — RoE

Overview

Written from the facts in this map's file

Over and Under is a small 36 by 36 map for Heroes of Might and Magic III, built for Restoration of Erathia and played on two levels, with an underground layer included. Six players take part, split into four teams, and up to four of them can be human; the remaining two colors, Teal and Pink, are computer-controlled and start with strong neutral castles. Every faction is random. Most of the ground is subterranean, with dirt and grass making up the rest, and there is no water. The map is rated Hard. Victory comes from defeating all enemies, and a player loses once all their towns and heroes are gone. Scattered across the map are 42 wandering monster stacks, 32 mines, eight towns, and eight random artifacts, with Swordsman and Ogre dwellings also placed.
