Osiem Królestw — RoE
Overview
Written from the facts in this map's file
Osiem Królestw is an Extra Large 144x144 map for Restoration of Erathia, set on the surface with no underground level. It is rated Expert and seats eight players, with only one human player allowed; the other seven colors are computer controlled. The map is split into two teams, and each player starts with a different town type, from Castle and Rampart to Inferno and Necropolis. Grass covers most of the land, with notable stretches of subterranean, snow and swamp terrain, and water makes up a small share. The map is won by defeating all enemies and lost if a specific hero falls. Its wandering monsters, 23 towns, 18 placed heroes, 88 mines and a set of placed artifacts fill the map, and the author's description warns that every other player is against you, so the advice is to advance slowly and carefully.
