Opposition - a delicate balanc — WoG
Overview
Written from the facts in this map's file
Opposition is a Hard, medium-sized 72 by 72 underground map for four players, all of whom can be human, split into two teams. The author describes a long truce between the Wizards and Humans, and another between the Demons and Necromancers, that collapses after a Demon raid on the Humans. The factions in play are Inferno, Tower, Necropolis, and Castle. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses by losing every town and hero. Water covers about 30 percent of the map and lava about 23 percent, with grass and rock making up smaller shares. Eight towns, 93 mines, nine creature banks, and ten monoliths and portals are spread across it, and the Grail is placed on the map alongside artifacts such as Armageddon's Blade.
