Old Legends is an extra large underground map for Restoration of Erathia, measuring 144 by 144 and set on Normal difficulty. Its premise is that ancient legends rise from below to override ordinary law. Eight players share the field, with at most one human seat and the rest run by the computer, arranged into six teams. The factions in play are Tower, Castle, Rampart, Stronghold, Fortress, Necropolis, Dungeon and Inferno. Rock, lava, water and snow make up most of the terrain. Victory comes from defeating all enemies, and a player loses after every town and hero is gone. The map holds 22 towns, 117 mines and the Grail, along with fifteen named artifacts such as Angel Wings and the Crown of the Supreme Magi, and 128 random monster stacks roam the land.
