Obrona Częstochowy is an Extra Large 144x144 map for Restoration of Erathia, played with an underground level and rated Expert. It casts the player as a defender of the last stronghold of a realm overrun by invaders from the north, while the king has fled abroad. Five players take part in three teams, with only one seat open to a human player and the other four controlled by the computer. The factions are a mix of Castle, Rampart, Tower and Necropolis. Victory requires transporting a specific artifact, and the player loses if a particular town falls. The land is mostly rock and grass, with a little swamp and rough ground and about 5 percent water. Across the map sit 33 towns, 105 mines, 17 creature banks, four seer huts and four monoliths or portals, along with the Grail and a large number of placed artifacts.
