Nowa wojna światów (by lbyczy) — SoD
Overview
Written from the facts in this map's file
Nowa wojna światów is an extra large Shadow of Death map of 144 by 144 tiles, with an underground level, rated hard. It is set for six players, four of whom can be human, while the Teal and Pink colors are computer-only. There are no teams. Each player starts with a different faction: Rampart, Tower, Stronghold, Fortress, Necropolis and Dungeon. The author describes an old struggle against darkness that has returned, so the final battle must be fought. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses by losing all towns and heroes. The land is mostly rock, subterranean ground, grass and snow, with a little water. Notable features include a Grail, 88 mines, 44 seer huts, 14 placed artifacts such as the Legion armor set, and several roaming stacks of Beholders and Pit Fiends.
