Novi Sad Unite! is a large underground map of 108 by 108 tiles, set in a city destroyed and split apart. The author describes a campaign to defeat hostile lords and reunite the territory, with the enemies portrayed as dangerous and the allies as brave but weak. Six players take part, with three seats open to human players and the remaining three played by the computer. The players form two teams, and the factions are Rampart, Fortress, Castle, Necropolis, Dungeon and Stronghold. Victory requires defeating all enemies, while a player loses once all towns and heroes are gone. Rock covers close to half the terrain, with grass, water and swamp making up the rest. Sixteen towns are on the map, along with wandering monsters, 38 random artifacts, 39 mines, three creature banks and 24 timed events.
