North vrs South — RoE

This two-player map, titled North vrs South, is a medium 72 by 72 battlefield with an underground level, set for the Restoration of Erathia version and played at Normal difficulty. Two human players face each other in a duel with no teams and no computer-only colors, and each side receives a random faction. Victory requires defeating all enemies, while a player loses by losing every town and hero. The terrain is mostly rock and grass, with a small share of water. Across the map sit six towns, 82 random monster stacks, 26 mines, 19 seer huts, and eight creature banks. Notable finds include fifteen named artifacts such as the Angel Wings, the Pendant of Holiness, and the Endless Sack of Gold, along with 36 random artifacts. The author describes it as a well-balanced clash between a northern and a southern kingdom.
