Unknown Roads to Peace is a large underground map measuring 108 by 108 tiles, rated Hard. Six players can all be human, and they form three teams. The factions are Cove, Stronghold (used twice), Tower, Fortress, and Inferno. Victory comes from flagging every mine, and a player loses once all of their towns and heroes are gone. The author's framing follows a player who escapes a fallen stronghold with a small force, another who aids a duchess, and rivals who want to spread destruction. Water covers about a third of the map, with lava and rough ground making up much of the rest. The map holds 17 towns, 64 mines, 33 seer huts, the Grail, 86 creature banks, and 32 monoliths and portals.
