New War — SoD

New War is a medium underground map measuring 72 by 72, played by four players with no teams and four human slots, all set to Impossible difficulty. Each player may pick from all eight factions: Castle, Rampart, Tower, Inferno, Necropolis, Dungeon, Stronghold and Fortress. The terrain is half grass and half dirt. Victory requires defeating every enemy, and a player loses once all their towns and heroes are gone. The map holds twelve towns, five placed heroes, and 308 random monster stacks, along with wandering groups of Minotaur Kings, Black Dragons, Mummies and others. Players will find 26 mines, 37 creature banks, four seer huts, and 64 random artifacts, plus named artifacts such as the Wizard's Well and Boots of Speed. The author's description is a short note in another language, and the map has no listed author.
