Nemesis — RoE

Nemesis is a two-player medium map of 72 by 72 tiles, played with an underground level and rated for expert players. Each side begins with a randomly chosen faction, and the match has no teams, so the goal is simply to defeat every enemy, while a player falls once all of their towns and heroes are lost. Roughly a third of the surface is water, with grass covering about a third more and subterranean ground making up a large share of the rest. The map holds six towns and two starting heroes, along with scattered wandering monsters such as Archangels, Titans, and Chaos Hydras. Players will also find fifteen named artifacts, including several spellbooks and the Endless Sack of Gold, plus mines, seer huts, creature banks, and monoliths.
