Nature vs Underground — RoE
Overview
Written from the facts in this map's file
Nature vs Underground is a small two-player Heroes of Might and Magic III map on a 36x36 grid with an underground level, rated easy. Only one human player can take part, and the other side is held by the computer under the Green color. The Green player fields a Dungeon town, while the human-capable Pink player has a Fortress. There are no teams. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses once all their towns and heroes are gone. Terrain is mostly rock, grass, subterranean ground and sand, with about a tenth of the area covered by water. The map holds three towns, two starting heroes, fourteen mines, and twelve random monster stacks. Wandering monsters include a Hydra, a Serpent Fly, a Basilisk and a Troglodyte, and dwellings hold Serpent Flies and Basilisks. Two random artifacts are placed on the map.
