Mystery Island — SoD
Overview
Written from the facts in this map's file
Mystery Island is a large underground-enabled map for four players, each able to be human, with no teams and no computer-only colors. The author's description frames it as four kingdoms once divided by the gods and now being tested for their peacefulness. Each of the four players, Red, Blue, Green and Orange, may choose from all eight factions: Castle, Rampart, Tower, Inferno, Necropolis, Dungeon, Stronghold and Fortress. Terrain is mostly dirt, water and snow, with swamp covering the rest. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses once all towns and heroes are gone. Notable features include two wandering dragons, a Crystal Dragon guarding a dwelling, and a set of placed artifacts such as the Titan's Gladius and the Ring of Infinite Gems.
