Murwyth Tor is a medium 72 by 72 surface map for three players, with two human players allowed and the third color, Blue, run by the computer. The two human players form one team against a Tower-faction opponent, and the other two colors are assigned random factions. The scenario is set at Normal difficulty. Water covers about a third of the land, with large areas of snow and grass and some rough ground. Four towns and four heroes are placed, along with twelve mines and a seer hut. Wandering monsters are plentiful, especially Stone Gargoyles, and the dwellings hold a range of creatures from Gremlins up to Diamond Golems. Several artifacts are scattered across the map, and fifteen timed events are included. A player wins by defeating a specific hero, and a player loses by losing all towns and heroes.
