Mortal Beloved — RoE
Overview
Written from the facts in this map's file
Mortal Beloved is an extra large underground map for Restoration of Erathia, set on a 144 by 144 grid with a Normal difficulty rating. Its story follows Xena, who is called to the Underworld by the spirit of her beloved Marcus to stop Atyminius, a villain who has taken the Hades Helm of Heavenly Enlightenment. The map supports three players, with up to two human participants, and the computer-only Blue side plays the Inferno faction. Red plays Castle and Tan plays Necropolis, and the two teams are formed among the three colors. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and the game is lost if time runs out. Terrain is mostly rock and water, with grass and subterranean areas. The map holds eight towns, four starting heroes, two Dragon Scale Armor and Sword of Judgement placements, and 34 mines.
