Möge der Beste Gewinnen — RoE

May the Best Win is a large underground map measuring 108 by 108 tiles, played at normal difficulty by up to six human players, with no computer-only colors. The story is that long wars have shattered each realm, and the goal is to reclaim the lands and destroy the rivals. Six factions take part, Necropolis, Dungeon, Inferno, Rampart, Castle and Tower, divided into two teams. Water covers about 31 percent of the terrain, with sand, swamp and grass making up much of the rest. Across the map lie 12 towns, 144 wandering monster stacks, 138 mines, 6 creature banks, 55 random artifacts and the Grail. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses once all their towns and heroes are gone.
