Mix's Utopia — SoD

Mix's Utopia is an extra large underground map for Shadow of Death, measuring 144 by 144 tiles and supporting up to eight players, all of whom may be human. Each of the eight colors starts with a random faction, and there are no teams. The author's note is not in English, so the map's theme is best judged from its layout: it is built mostly from rock, with about a third of the surface given over to water and a smaller share of subterranean ground. Players win by defeating all enemies and lose once every town and hero is gone. The map holds twelve towns and a large population of wandering monsters, including Crystal Dragons, Azure and Black Dragons, and Rogues. It also contains 92 randomly placed artifacts, the Grail, 84 mines, seven seer huts, 32 creature banks, and ten monoliths and portals.
