Midkemia — AB

Midkemia is an extra large map of 144 by 144 tiles with an underground level, built for Armageddon's Blade. Its author gave a short description calling it a saga about a serpent war. Half of the map is water (51 percent), with grassland covering about 37 percent and sand the rest. Six players are set up, with up to five human players and one computer-only Teal side; there are no fixed teams, and every faction is random. The difficulty is Hard. Victory requires defeating all enemies, while a player loses by losing all towns and heroes. The map holds 15 towns and a single placed hero, along with 74 mines, 40 creature banks, 3 seer huts and 2 monoliths or portals. Wandering troglodytes, crystal dragons and enchanters are among the roaming forces, and the Grail is on the map, as is the placed Scales of the Greater Basilisk.
