Maze of Madness — RoE

Maze of Madness is a medium underground map for Heroes of Might and Magic III, built for the Restoration of Erathia version and rated Hard. Its 72 by 72 tiles hold eight players, all of whom can be human, grouped into four teams. The map is set largely in subterranean terrain, with grass, dirt, lava, and some water. Each player starts with a different faction, from Stronghold and Dungeon to Necropolis and Castle. Victory requires defeating all enemies, while a player loses once every town and hero is gone. The map has 17 towns, 57 mines, and 79 monoliths and portals, along with wandering dragons and a Chaos Hydra. Artifacts such as the Crown of Dragontooth and the Cape of Velocity are scattered across it. The author's description asks whether players can conquer the maze before losing their minds.
