The factions are Castle, Tower, Inferno, Rampart, and Dungeon, and the Pink player starts with a mix of Rampart and Dungeon. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses by losing all towns and heroes. The author calls the map very demanding and suggests playing with a team. Certain travel spells are not sold in markets and must be found in tomes. Water covers about a third of the terrain. The map holds 38 towns, 121 mines, 24 creature banks, 15 monoliths and portals, and 198 random monster stacks, along with many artifacts and cursed mists.
