Black Friday is a large 108 by 108 underground map for Heroes of Might and Magic III, built for the In the Wake of Gods version and rated Expert. Six players take part, up to four of them human, and the game uses four teams. Orange and Purple are computer-only. Factions include Castle, Rampart, Tower, Inferno, Necropolis, and Conflux, while Purple fields Dungeon alone. The author describes sorcerers trying to unleash dungeon monsters on the world, and the player and an ally must stop them. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and losing every town and hero ends the game. Rock and grass cover most of the terrain. The map holds the Grail, 18 towns, 57 mines, and dwellings guarding dragons such as the Red, Crystal, and Rust varieties, along with many artifacts.
